Hayden Legro

Principal Hayden Legro studied at Monash University and University of Tasmania and Catholic Theological College Melbourne and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 1991.

After heading up the Launceston Office of Lander & Rogers as a Senior Associate he purchased McIntosh Solicitors in Melton in 2002 and changed its name to Hayden Legro Lawyers in 2004.

Hayden has extensive experience in Business and Finance Law, Family Law,  Deceased Estate Administration, Wills and Power of Attorney, Criminal Law, Civil Litigation and Building Litigation, Victims of Crime Claims  and Sexual Abuse Compensation Claims.

Hayden has a strong commitment to social justice, he served as a volunteer at the night service at legal centres in Fitzroy, Melton, Brimbank, Newport and Bendigo between 1991 and 2011. He was Board Member Launceston Community Legal Centre 1997 – 2000 and Board Member of Djerriwarrh Health Services (2006 – 2012) Education Board Member St Brigids Parish, Gisborne and Holy Cross Primary School Advisory Board Member (2015-2020).

Hayden was Committee Member and then Director Reclink Australia ( 2000 -2012) , Chair Reclink Galbally Charity Football  Cup which has raised $300,000 for Reclink since 2005 and currently Chair Reclink Australia  SportShare Committee.  He is a also Life Member.

Hayden is also a diehard passionate Richmond supporter and member of the Tigers-at-Law Group. He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, bushwalking, gardening and tennis in his spare time.
