After spending the first part of her career as an accountant, Theresa returned to university to study law and has now been practising since 2008.
She describes herself as a multi-disciplinary professional with a strong legal, accounting, tax and financial planning background.
“I believe the professional advisor of the 21st century needs to be able to provide complete personal advice. I can give my clients complete accounting, tax and legal advice for their financial wellbeing, meaning they’re not being referred to numerous professionals at additional time, cost and stress.”
Theresa joined Legro Lawyers in early 2014 after six years with another local firm. She has a strong commitment to community and social justice, with previous positions with the Adult Parole Board of Victoria, Wyndham Connected Inc and within the City of Wyndham has sat on the Quality Community Plan Taskforce, the Safety Committee, the Police & Community Consultative Committee and the WOOP Working Party. Theresa is also a school council member of Al Taqwa College, a member of the Werribee Chamber of Commerce, Wyndham Legal Service, Committee for Wyndham, a founding member of Wyndham Biznet and was a former director of Reclink.
